Italian Lives in Western Australia

The Vite Italiane "Italian Lives" project explored the history of Italian migrants in Western Australia. The project was conducted by researchers from the University of Western Australia and funded by the Australian Research Council with support from a range of government, community and private organisations.

Results of the research include: 

• 'Vite Italiane’ Italian Lives in Western Australia book published by UWA Press;
• An educational resource kit;
• An archive of oral histories, images and documents hosted by the State Library of Western Australia;
• ‘Vite Italiane’ exhibition at the State Library of Western Australia (Oct 2010 – Jan 2011).
